We are full-time, professional booksellers.
The business was established in 1957 and we have had a busy open shop in Toronto for 25 years. We have moved to the shores of beautiful Georgian Bay in the fall of 2000 where our stock is available for exploration by appointment or by chance. We have a booth at the Owen Sound Farmers' Market on Saturday mornings, year-round. We focus on second hand, out-of-print and antiquarian books in many subjects with an emphasis on History, Natural & Domestic Sciences, and Gardening. We are members of the Antiquarian Booksellers' Association of Canada and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers.
Terms of Sale: Books are subject to prior sale. Shipping is extra on all orders and will be charged at cost. Payment should be made with orders and may be made by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express ) or cheque (U.S. or Canadian dollars; UK sterling.). Institutions may be billed on receipt of an authorized Purchase Order. 6% GST will be charged on orders shipped to Canadian addresses. Books may be returned within 5 days of receipt with prior notification, provided they are in the same condition in which they were received.
